Joy at it’s fullest

There are many Scriptures about joy, but God used John 16:24 to speak to me this last week.

“Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”

‭‭John‬ ‭16‬:‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In reading this verse, God shows us that our joy in it's fullest is directly tied to our prayer! The Scripture says to ask in His (Jesus’ name) that our joy may be full!

Ask for what? Anything!

Who has kids? What a joy it is to a father & mother's heart when they would come to us & ask us for advice, guidance, help or when they just need comfort & reassurance.

Imagine how that makes the heart of our Father in heaven feel when we come to Him for these same things. Joyous indeed!

It’s a joy to God Himself when we pray to Him, & in return, we are filled with & reflect God's very joy. That’s what full joy is beloved.
