Never too old for hide-n-seek…

…especially when you have a cat!

Hey ya’ll, chiming in with a couple updates:

Sadly, Anita & I had to say “bye for now” to our beloved cat, Sonny (aka Bubba Lump/Big Orange), on November 3rd, just after 2am. He was 10 years old & passed peacefully in our arms. Rest in peace, Bubba Lump.

On a brighter note, we’ve adopted a new rescue cat, Chandler, a 5-year-old silver tabby. He’s been through a lot - found under an RV & living at the shelter ever since. Adjusting to home life has proven challenging for him…& us! He hides constantly, turning every evening after work into a game of hide-n-seek!

Yesterday, I found out once again that I’m not 20 years old anymore as I had to lay on the floor to see if he was under the fridge! It wasn’t easy getting back up! I gave up & waited for Anita to come home LOL!

A while back, I did a blog post & mentioned something that’s still true for me to this day…if my wife can’t find it, it’s indeed lost for a good long while, or even permanently!

Sure enough, In half the time I took looking for him, she found him! And not under the fridge like I mentioned earlier, but on top of it!

Never too old for hide-n-seek indeed! Especially with Chandler!

We are patient in love with him & we look forward to the day when he finally understands that we are his forever home & that he can trust us to take good care of him.
