So what's with the Moose???

Great question! I LOVE moose and ALWAYS have! Well here are some fun facts before I tell you why I love them!

1) They are the LARGEST of the deer family (up to 1200 pounds! WOW!).

2) They eat a lot...

3) They say a pack of wolves or a black bear are no match for a moose...

4) Their antlers are built in weapons...

5) They shed their antlers every year...

6) They are great swimmers...

Funny...some of these really do apply to me...like eating a lot! LOL! I wouldn't say I'm obese but while I don't have antlers to shed, I do have a few pounds to shed!

So why do I love moose?

Because that was what my mother called me. Moose is my nick name and every time I hear the word moose I hear my mother's voice calling me. When I see a moose I think of her, which explains why we have moose everything around the house, LOL! She went on to be with the Lord in January of 2018 and she is greatly missed by us.

So maybe when you see a moose, and you knew my mother, you will remember her. :-)
