The Season of Light

Christmas is the season of light! Twinkling decorations adorn homes, flickering candles glow in windows and streets shine with festive displays. Yet, beyond the physical brilliance, lies the eternal light of Jesus Christ!

John 8:12 reminds us that Jesus IS the light of the world, and that whoever follows Him will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life!

This message resonates especially during Christmas, as we are called to reflect His light in our own lives.

To follow Jesus is to illuminate the world around us. It means WE are the candle! It means offering forgiveness, extending kindness, and sharing hope. Each act of love becomes a flicker of light, pushing back the shadows of despair and loneliness.

So as we gather to celebrate this holy season, may the light of Jesus fill our hearts and homes. Let us not only bask in its glow, but carry it forward, becoming beacons of His love to others all year round!

When we carry His light, we don’t just celebrate Christmas - WE LIVE IT!
